House M.D. broadcast its final episode in 2012.
The series finale, titled “Everybody Dies,” aired on Fox on May 21, 2012. It concluded the show’s eight-season run and focused on the consequences of House’s actions, his relationship with Wilson, and the choices the characters made as the story reached its end.
The finale followed “Swan Song,” a retrospective special that aired alongside the concluding broadcast period. The final season had already established major changes at Princeton-Plainsboro, including new professional arrangements and the consequences of House’s legal and personal problems.
The year is sometimes confused with 2011 because the show’s eighth and final season began in 2011. Its last season therefore spans two calendar years, but the last episode itself belongs to 2012. House M.D. premiered in 2004 and ended eight years later after 177 episodes.
