Honda Motor Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Minato, one of Tokyo’s 23 special wards. Its current head office is in Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
Honda’s headquarters has occupied several Tokyo locations over the company’s history, including the Aoyama area. In 2025, Honda relocated its head office to Toranomon Alcea Tower at 2-2-3 Toranomon, but the address remained within Minato Ward.
Minato is a major business district containing areas such as Toranomon, Aoyama, Roppongi, and Shinagawa’s northern surroundings. It is also home to many multinational companies, embassies, and prominent corporate offices.
The main trap is treating Tokyo’s large districts as interchangeable. Shibuya, Chiyoda, and Shinjuku are also important business centers, but Honda’s corporate head office is in Minato. Honda’s manufacturing and research facilities elsewhere in Japan should not be confused with its registered Tokyo headquarters.
