In which city will you find the Tiergarten Park?
Answer
Berlin
Answer
Berlin
Tiergarten Park is located in Berlin, Germany.
The Großer Tiergarten is Berlin's best-known central park and one of the city's defining green spaces. It stretches through the heart of the German capital between major landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and Berlin's diplomatic and government district. The name Tiergarten means “animal garden” or “game park,” reflecting the area's original use as a hunting ground.
In the late 17th century, Elector Friedrich III began transforming the former hunting grounds for public enjoyment. During the 19th century, landscape designer Peter Joseph Lenné redesigned much of the park between 1833 and 1838 in the style of an English landscape garden, adding broad paths, lawns, waterways, and wooded areas.
Tiergarten is sometimes confused with Berlin Zoological Garden, which lies nearby but is a separate attraction. The park itself is an open urban landscape rather than a zoo. It covers roughly 210 hectares and is especially recognizable for the Victory Column, paths, lakes, and expansive lawns near the center of Berlin.
