Taylor Swift’s song “august” became part of The Eras Tour set list in 2023.
The Eras Tour began in 2023 and presented songs from across Swift’s career in sections organized around her albums and musical periods. “august” appeared during the Folklore portion of the show, where its atmospheric sound fit naturally beside other songs from that album.
The track had already received a major live spotlight at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021. Its later inclusion in The Eras Tour reflected both Folklore’s importance in Swift’s catalog and the song’s strong reputation among fans.
The tour continued into 2024, which can cause confusion about the answer. The question asks when “august” entered the tour’s set list, not every year in which the tour or the song was performed. The relevant starting year is 2023.
