In what season did Rebecca Howe first appear on Cheers?

Rebecca Howe first appeared on Cheers in Season 6. Kirstie Alley debuted as Rebecca in the season-six premiere, “Home Is the Sailor,” which aired on September 24, 1987.

Rebecca became the new manager of Cheers after Sam Malone sold the bar to the Lillian Corporation. Her arrival followed Shelley Long’s departure as Diane Chambers, changing the show’s central female role and creating a new comic rivalry with Sam.

Rebecca initially seemed like a confident, business-minded executive, but the character gradually became more neurotic and romantically unlucky. She remained part of the series through its eleventh and final season, appearing in 147 Cheers episodes.
