In 'Unforgiven', the prostitute who is disfigured is Delilah Fitzgerald. In the film's opening events, the cowboy Quick Mike slashes Delilah's face with a knife after she insults him, leaving her permanently scarred.
The attack takes place in the fictional Wyoming town of Big Whiskey in 1881.
