In Twin Peaks, which actress played FBI agent Annie Blackburn?

Heather Graham played FBI agent Annie Blackburn in Twin Peaks.

Annie Blackburn appears in the second season of the original series as another FBI agent connected to Dale Cooper. She arrives in Twin Peaks after Cooper has already become involved in the investigation into Laura Palmer’s murder. Annie is also important to the series’ supernatural mythology because she becomes connected to the Black Lodge storyline.

Graham returned to the role for Twin Peaks: The Return, the 2017 revival. The character is sometimes confused with Audrey Horne, Donna Hayward, or Laura Palmer, but Annie is a separate character and an FBI agent rather than a local high-school student. Graham’s casting links Annie to the show’s later episodes and to Cooper’s personal story.
