Answer
Damien Thorn
Answer
Damien Thorn
In The Omen, the child believed to be the Antichrist is named Damien Thorn.
The 1976 film follows Robert Thorn, a United States diplomat, who adopts Damien after his own infant son dies. Strange deaths and ominous signs lead Robert to investigate the child’s origins and the possibility that Damien is connected to an apocalyptic prophecy.
Gregory Peck played Robert Thorn, while Lee Remick played his wife, Katherine. Harvey Stephens portrayed Damien in his film debut and received a Golden Globe nomination for New Star of the Year for his performance.
Damien Thorn is sometimes confused with Father Damien Karras from The Exorcist because both names appear in famous supernatural horror films. They are unrelated characters. The Omen was directed by Richard Donner and written by David Seltzer, and its success led to several sequels.
