In The Junior Mint, what is Jerry's date's name?

The story behind the answer

Jerry’s date in “The Junior Mint” is named Dolores.

Jerry cannot remember her name and spends the episode trying to discover it without simply asking. She tells him that her name rhymes with a part of the female anatomy, prompting Jerry, George, and Kramer to invent guesses including “Mulva.” Jerry finally realizes the answer is Dolores after she has already left.

The episode aired on March 18, 1993, as Seinfeld’s 60th episode and the 20th episode of its fourth season. The woman is credited on the episode as “Mystery Woman” and is played by Susan Walters, but her name is established later when the character returns in “The Foundation.”

The name itself was reportedly changed during production: the writers had initially considered “Cloris,” but a studio-audience suggestion of Dolores was adopted. That production detail explains why some viewers remember Cloris as an alternate rather than the canonical answer.
