In the 2011 film Immortals, which actor played Zeus?

Luke Evans played Zeus in the 2011 film Immortals.

Directed by Tarsem Singh, Immortals is a fantasy action film inspired by Greek mythology. Luke Evans portrays Zeus, while Henry Cavill plays the mortal hero Theseus and Mickey Rourke plays King Hyperion. The film uses mythological names and themes but is not a faithful adaptation of Hesiod’s Pandora narrative.

Pandora appears in the movie as a young woman connected with the key to the imprisoned Titans. Freida Pinto plays Pandora. This makes the film relevant to the Pandora tradition while also distinguishing it from the ancient myth: the cinematic plot combines several mythic elements into a new story. A frequent casting error is to identify Henry Cavill as Zeus because he is the film’s central heroic figure, but Cavill plays Theseus.
