In StarCraft II, which actor voices Jim Raynor?

Robert Clotworthy voices Jim Raynor in StarCraft II.

Clotworthy provides the voice of Jim Raynor, the Terran marshal and rebel leader who serves as the central protagonist of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. Raynor had already appeared in the original StarCraft, where he was voiced by Robert Clotworthy as well, making the performance a continuing part of the character’s identity across the series.

Wings of Liberty is primarily a Terran-focused campaign. Its story follows Raynor and his rebel group, Raynor’s Raiders, as they oppose Arcturus Mengsk’s Dominion and investigate the return of the Zerg threat. The campaign is presented through mission briefings, shipboard conversations, and cinematic scenes, giving the voice cast a prominent role.

Clotworthy is also known for extensive narration work in television documentaries and factual programming. This can cause confusion with other StarCraft performers: Michael Dorn voices several characters in the broader franchise, while James Harper is associated with other roles. Raynor’s voice in StarCraft II is specifically Clotworthy’s.
