In StarCraft II, the Protoss unit that uses Blink to teleport short distances is the Stalker.
Stalkers are ranged mechanical walkers controlled by the Protoss Nerazim, also known as the Dark Templar. Their Blink ability allows them to teleport a short distance, letting players escape danger, cross terrain, chase damaged enemies, or reach elevated ground.
The Stalker is built from a Gateway or Warpgate after the appropriate technology is available. It attacks both ground and air targets, giving Protoss armies a flexible early- and mid-game unit. Its mobility is one of the main reasons it remains useful even after stronger units become available.
Stalkers are sometimes confused with Dark Templars because both are associated with the Nerazim. However, Dark Templars rely on permanent cloaking and melee attacks, while Stalkers are visible ranged walkers whose defining movement ability is Blink.
