Mass Recall is the Protoss mothership ability in StarCraft II that teleports nearby allied units to the mothership's location.
The ability gives a Protoss army a powerful emergency escape and repositioning tool. A player can use it to save units from a losing engagement, move forces from one side of the map to another, or protect a mothership from an immediate threat. The visual and strategic idea fits Protoss technology, which frequently uses warp-based movement.
Mass Recall is distinct from Blink, the short-range teleport used by Stalkers, and from a Warp Prism's transport and warp-in functions. It is also not the same as a Nexus recall mechanic, which was associated with other Protoss strategic effects in different versions and contexts.
The mothership itself is a capital-scale Protoss unit, so Mass Recall is associated with a late-game army rather than an early-game attack. Its value depends heavily on timing and positioning.
