In Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost, the Hex Girls’ lead singer is Thorn.
Thorn is the stage name of Sally McKnight, the red-haired frontwoman of the fictional ecological gothic-rock band. She sings lead vocals and plays guitar, while Dusk and Luna perform alongside her. The group’s musical style combines rock imagery with environmental themes, making them memorable allies rather than villains.
The Hex Girls debuted in the 1999 animated film Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost. They initially seem suspicious because their dramatic appearance and connection to the supernatural atmosphere make the Mystery Inc. gang wonder whether they are involved in the haunting. However, the band members are ultimately portrayed as friendly performers who help Scooby and the gang.
Thorn is sometimes confused with the band’s other members, especially Dusk, who has blonde hair, and Luna, who has purple hair. The character later returned in several Scooby-Doo productions and became one of the franchise’s best-known recurring musical acts.
