In Pixar's Cars 2, British spy car Finn McMissile recruits Lightning McQueen for an international mission. Finn is an experienced agent who initially mistakes Mater for an undercover operative.
Finn investigates a plot connected to the World Grand Prix, a three-race international competition organized by Miles Axlerod. His work brings McQueen and Mater into the espionage story, which moves among locations including Tokyo, Porto Corsa, and London. Finn combines spy gadgets with the appearance of a classic British grand tourer.
Michael Caine voices Finn McMissile in the English version. The character's design draws on British spy-film traditions and cars such as the Aston Martin DB5, though Finn is an original Cars character rather than a licensed version of James Bond. Holley Shiftwell is another British intelligence car, but she is Finn's partner, not the recruiter in this question.
