In 'Once Upon a Time in the West', what is the name of the railroad magnate?

The story behind the answer

In 'Once Upon a Time in the West,' the railroad magnate is Morton. He is the railway tycoon whose expanding railroad drives much of the film's conflict.

Morton wants the railroad to reach the Pacific, but his plans depend on controlling Sweetwater, a ranch owned by Brett McBain. McBain understands that the railroad will pass through his property and begins building a watering station that could make the land extremely valuable.

Morton hires Frank to intimidate McBain, but Frank and his men murder McBain and his children instead. The crime is then pinned on Cheyenne, while the mysterious Harmonica investigates the killings. The story is often remembered for its three iconic figures—Harmonica, Cheyenne, and Frank—but Morton is the railroad businessman behind the land dispute. He is played by Gabriele Ferzetti.
