Omar Epps played Dr. Eric Foreman throughout House M.D.
Foreman is a neurologist who becomes one of House’s most important diagnostic colleagues. He is ambitious, skeptical, and often willing to challenge House’s methods, while also learning from House’s unusual approach to difficult cases.
Epps was part of the principal cast from the series premiere in 2004 through the final season. Foreman’s career develops significantly: he works under House, takes on leadership responsibilities, and eventually becomes a senior hospital administrator by the end of the series.
Foreman is sometimes confused with Kutner or Chase, who were also members of House’s diagnostic teams. Kal Penn played Lawrence Kutner, while Jesse Spencer played Robert Chase. Epps’ performance made Foreman one of the show’s most consistent links between House’s unconventional reasoning and ordinary hospital practice.
