Omar Epps played Dr. Eric Foreman, one of House’s original fellows in House M.D.
Foreman is introduced as a neurologist who joins House’s first diagnostic team alongside Allison Cameron and Robert Chase. He is ambitious, intellectually confident, and often concerned that House’s methods could damage his own professional reputation.
Foreman’s relationship with House develops through repeated disagreements about medical judgment, responsibility, and authority. He eventually holds several leadership positions at Princeton-Plainsboro, including serving as Dean of Medicine near the end of the series.
Omar Epps had worked in film and television before House, including roles in the films Juice, Higher Learning, and Love & Basketball. He remained a regular cast member through the show’s entire run, making Foreman one of the central physicians in the series’ long-term ensemble.
