In Greek mythology, who was Pandora’s daughter according to Hyginus’s Fabulae?

The story behind the answer

In Hyginus’s Fabulae, Pandora’s daughter was Pyrrha.

Pyrrha is best known as the daughter of Epimetheus and Pandora and the wife of Deucalion. In the flood myth, Zeus sends a catastrophic flood, and Deucalion and Pyrrha survive by taking refuge in a chest or ark-like vessel. Afterward, they repopulate the world by throwing stones behind them; the stones become people.

This genealogy belongs to later mythographic tradition and is not the same as every early version of Pandora’s story. Hesiod’s surviving poems focus on Pandora’s creation, marriage, and the container, but do not provide the complete flood narrative associated with Pyrrha. Hyginus, a Roman-era mythographer, records the family connection in his Fabulae, making Pyrrha a useful link between Pandora’s myth and the Greek flood cycle.
