In Greek mythology, which Titan was known for giving fire to humanity?

The story behind the answer

In Greek mythology, Prometheus was the Titan known for giving fire to humanity. His theft of fire from Zeus became one of the best-known parts of the Prometheus myth and helps explain why Zeus sends Pandora as a punishment.

Hesiod’s Works and Days says Prometheus deceived Zeus and stole fire after Zeus had withheld it from humans. Zeus responded by arranging a destructive gift: Pandora, a woman fashioned by the gods and sent to Prometheus’s brother Epimetheus.

Later Greek and Roman writers expanded the fire story and made Prometheus a major symbol of creativity, rebellion, and human progress. The Pandora story is therefore connected to fire through Zeus’s punishment, not because Pandora herself stole or carried the flame. Prometheus and Pandora belong to the same mythic sequence but perform very different roles.
