In Greek mythology, what was Pandora's daughter called in traditions connecting her to the flood survivors?

The story behind the answer

Pandora's daughter was called Pyrrha in Greek traditions connecting her family to the flood survivors.

Pyrrha is generally described as the daughter of Pandora and Epimetheus. She later became the wife of Deucalion, the son of Prometheus. In the Greek flood story, Zeus destroys much of humanity, and Deucalion and Pyrrha survive by remaining in a chest or ark-like vessel.

After the flood, the pair repopulate the earth by throwing stones behind them. The stones become people: those cast by Deucalion become men, while those cast by Pyrrha become women. This episode explains the Greek wordplay linking laas, “stone,” with laos, “people.”

Different ancient genealogies do not always agree, and Pandora herself appears in more than one mythic tradition. Pyrrha is nevertheless the standard name in the genealogy linking Pandora to Deucalion's flood.
