Answer
A white bull
In Greek mythology, Zeus took the form of a white bull when he carried off Europa.
Europa was a Phoenician princess, usually described as the daughter of King Agenor. Zeus noticed her while she was gathering flowers with companions near the seashore. He transformed himself into a gentle white bull and approached the group. When Europa climbed onto his back, the bull carried her across the sea to Crete.
On Crete, Zeus revealed his identity and made Europa his consort. Their children included Minos, Rhadamanthus, and Sarpedon in major mythological traditions. Zeus later gave Europa gifts, including the bronze guardian Talos in some accounts.
The continent of Europe is traditionally said to have taken its name from Europa, although the name’s deeper linguistic origin remains debated. Europa is also distinct from Europe as a geographical name in modern usage, despite their shared mythological origin.
