Teleport is a level 18 Sorceress skill in Diablo II. It consumes mana and relocates the character to a targeted position, allowing the player to cross obstacles, escape danger, bypass monsters, and move rapidly through explored areas.
The skill became one of the defining features of Sorceress gameplay and a major influence on Diablo II’s multiplayer economy. Fast teleportation makes the class especially effective for locating bosses and completing repeated runs, often called farming runs, for equipment.
Teleport should not be confused with Town Portal. Town Portal creates a temporary gateway to town, while Teleport is a combat and movement ability. Other classes can gain access to teleportation through certain items or runewords, but the Sorceress receives it as part of her native skill tree.
