Aerosmith's Pandora's Box is a three-CD box set.
Released in 1991, the compilation gathers material from the American rock band's career, including familiar recordings, rarities, live performances, and alternate takes. Its title refers to the mythological expression while also suggesting a large collection of previously scattered material being opened for listeners.
The set appeared during a period when Aerosmith's earlier work was being revisited by a new generation of fans. The band had formed in Boston in 1970 and had already released major albums such as Toys in the Attic and Rocks. Pandora's Box therefore functions as an expansive career archive rather than a conventional studio album.
It is sometimes confused with Pandora's Box, Aerosmith's 2002 compilation album, which is a different release. The 1991 box set's defining physical format is three compact discs.
