Roger Federer won the Dubai Tennis Championships eight times.
Federer’s Dubai victories came in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2019. His first three titles were consecutive, establishing him as one of the tournament’s defining early champions.
He returned to the winner’s circle in 2007, then added three more titles between 2012 and 2015. His eighth triumph arrived in 2019, when he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas 6–4, 6–4 in the final.
That 2019 win carried extra significance: it was Federer’s 100th ATP singles title overall, making him only the second man after Jimmy Connors to reach that milestone at the time. The tournament is played on hard courts and is now known as the Dubai Tennis Championships, although its sponsorship name has changed over the years.
