Roger Federer won the ATP Sportsmanship Award 13 times.
The award is chosen by fellow ATP players and recognizes conduct, fairness, and respect both on court and around the sport. Federer first received it in 2004 and won it every year from 2004 through 2009, then again from 2011 through 2017.
That sequence totals 13 awards: six consecutive wins, a one-year gap in 2010, and seven more consecutive wins. The honor is now formally known as the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award, named after the Swedish former world No. 1 and one of Federer's early role models.
A common mix-up is confusing this award with the ATP Fans' Favorite award. Federer won the fan-voted prize for 19 straight years, from 2003 through 2021, but his peer-voted sportsmanship total was 13.
