Tom Brady owns seven Super Bowl rings, the most of any player in NFL history. He won six championships with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brady’s first Super Bowl victory came in the 2001 season, when New England defeated the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI. He later won with the Patriots in Super Bowls XXXVIII, XXXIX, XLIX, LI, and LIII. His seventh championship came in Super Bowl LV, when Tampa Bay defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31–9.
A frequent mix-up is confusing Brady’s seven rings with the Patriots’ six championships during his New England career. Brady also holds five Super Bowl Most Valuable Player awards, another record. His seven victories exceed the total of any NFL franchise and helped make him the sport’s most decorated quarterback.
