Tiger Woods won the 2019 Masters by one stroke. He finished at 13 under par with a four-round score of 275, one shot ahead of Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Xander Schauffele, who tied for second.

Woods entered the final round two strokes behind leader Francesco Molinari. Molinari’s water-related mistakes on the 12th and 15th holes opened the door, while Woods birdied the 15th and 16th to take control. He reached the 18th hole knowing a bogey would still be enough to win and safely completed the tournament.

The victory was Woods’s fifth Masters title and his first major championship in 11 years. At age 43, he became the second-oldest Masters winner at that time, behind Jack Nicklaus. It was also his first major victory when he was not leading after 54 holes.
