Discord offers five server verification levels: None, Low, Medium, High, and Highest.
These levels control what a new member must satisfy before chatting. None imposes no verification requirement. Low requires a verified email address, while Medium adds an account-age requirement. High also requires the member to have been in the server for more than 10 minutes. Highest adds verified phone ownership.
A common mix-up is confusing server verification levels with Discord’s verification badges or the verification process for official servers. These are separate systems: the five levels are moderation and anti-spam settings available to servers. A verified phone number can also supersede the other requirements, depending on Discord’s current rules.
