How many seasons did the American medical drama House M.D. run for?
Answer
Eight seasons
House M.D. ran for eight seasons from 2004 to 2012.
The series premiered on Fox on November 16, 2004, and concluded with its eighth-season finale on May 21, 2012. It follows Dr. Gregory House, a diagnostician whose unconventional methods help solve difficult medical cases at a fictional New Jersey teaching hospital.
The show was produced by Heel and Toe Films, Shore Z Productions, and Bad Hat Harry Productions, with Universal Television distributing it. Its long run made it one of the most recognizable American medical dramas of the 2000s.
Viewers sometimes confuse the number of seasons with the number of regular doctors on House's team, which changed repeatedly. The cast and team structure evolved across the eight seasons, but the season count remained fixed at eight.
