Eevee has eight official evolutions.
These evolutions are often called Eeveelutions. They are Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon. Each one represents a different Pokémon type, giving Eevee unusually broad evolutionary variety.
Eevee began with three evolutions in Pokémon Red and Blue: Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. Gold and Silver added Espeon and Umbreon, while Diamond and Pearl introduced Leafeon and Glaceon. Sylveon arrived in Pokémon X and Y with the Fairy type.
The count is sometimes mistaken because Eevee itself is not one of its evolutions. Special forms, temporary transformations, and fan-created possibilities also should not be included in the official total. The eight count refers to named species that Eevee can evolve into in the main Pokémon games.
