Stephen Curry has won 4 NBA championships. He won all four titles with the Golden State Warriors, in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022.
Curry helped turn Golden State into one of the NBA’s defining teams of the 2010s. The Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2015 Finals, repeated against Cleveland in 2017, and won again in 2018. Their fourth championship came in 2022, when Golden State defeated the Boston Celtics.
The number is sometimes confused with Curry’s six NBA Finals appearances: he reached the Finals in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022. Reaching the Finals does not count as winning the championship, which is why the correct total is four rather than six. Curry also became the first player in NBA history to win four championships, two regular-season MVP awards, and a Finals MVP award while playing for the same franchise.
