Stevie Wonder had won 25 Grammy Awards by the 2024 Grammy Awards. That total includes competitive Grammy wins across several decades and a special Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Wonder’s first Grammy wins came in the early 1970s, and he became one of the ceremony’s most consistently recognized artists. His album Innervisions won Album of the Year for 1973, and Fulfillingness’ First Finale and Songs in the Key of Life also won that category in subsequent years.
The number 25 is sometimes reported differently because award totals can depend on whether special honors are included and on the cutoff date used by a source. The question’s cutoff makes the figure specific to the Grammy Awards held through 2024.
Wonder’s Grammy history is especially notable for his three consecutive Album of the Year victories from 1974 through 1976. Those wins remain one of the clearest measures of his dominance during that period.
