Folklore won one Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
The award was presented at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021. Folklore’s victory made Taylor Swift the first woman to win Album of the Year three times, following earlier wins for Fearless and 1989.
The achievement is connected to “august” because the song is one of Folklore’s central tracks and was included in Swift’s Grammy performance medley. However, the award belonged to the album as a whole, not specifically to “august” as an individual recording.
Another possible source of confusion is the number of Grammy categories associated with Folklore. The album received multiple nominations and recognition, but its Album of the Year victory was a single award in that category. Evermore, released later in 2020, was a separate album and did not win that particular prize.
