Messi scored 10 goals in the 2014–15 Champions League season.
He finished the tournament as one of three joint top scorers, alongside Barcelona teammate Neymar and Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo. Messi’s 10 goals came in 13 appearances, and he also contributed 6 assists as Barcelona completed a historic treble of the Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey.
Barcelona’s campaign ended with a 3–1 victory over Juventus in the final at Berlin’s Olympiastadion on 6 June 2015. Messi did not score in the final, but he played a central role in the knockout rounds, including memorable performances against Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
The total is sometimes mixed up with Messi’s 2014–15 La Liga tally of 43 goals, or with his career-best Champions League season in 2011–12, when he scored 14 times. In 2014–15, the 10-goal total was enough to share the competition’s scoring crown.
