Aston Villa scored 31 goals in the 2025–26 UEFA Europa League.
That total made Villa the competition’s top-scoring team, six goals clear of runners-up Freiburg. Villa’s strong attacking campaign ended with a 3–0 victory over Freiburg in the final in Istanbul on 20 May 2026.
The triumph qualified Villa for the 2026 UEFA Super Cup against Paris Saint-Germain, the Champions League winners. Paris ultimately prevailed 2–1 in Salzburg, but Villa’s Europa League campaign remained one of the club’s most significant European achievements.
Villa also won 13 of their 15 Europa League matches during the campaign, losing only two. The club became the 31st different winner of the UEFA Cup or Europa League and the sixth winner from England.
