Dragons: Race to the Edge has 78 episodes.
The computer-animated television series follows Hiccup, Toothless, and the other riders as they explore regions beyond Berk and confront new dragon hunters and rival groups. It ran for six seasons and expanded the franchise's world between the events of How to Train Your Dragon 2 and The Hidden World.
Netflix released the series in batches rather than following a traditional weekly broadcast pattern. This can make episode totals appear different on unofficial lists, especially when specials, bonus material, or season groupings are counted inconsistently.
The total of 78 refers to the regular numbered episodes across all six seasons. Race to the Edge is distinct from Dragons: Riders of Berk, the earlier television series that originally aired on Cartoon Network and had a different episode count.
