Eevee can evolve into eight different Pokémon in the games as of Generation IX.
These evolutions are Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon. Fans commonly call them “Eeveelutions.” They represent different Pokémon types and are triggered by different conditions, including elemental stones, friendship, time of day, location, and a move-based requirement.
The first three Eeveelutions—Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon—appeared with Eevee in Pokémon Red and Green. Espeon and Umbreon arrived in Generation II, Leafeon and Glaceon in Generation IV, and Sylveon in Generation VI.
Eevee itself is a Normal-type Pokémon known as the Evolution Pokémon. Its branching evolution system is unusual because one species can develop into several distinct species rather than following one fixed evolutionary path.
