The sales milestone is separate from later lifetime totals, which continued to rise as the games remained on the market. It also refers to Scarlet and Violet together, not to one individual version. The games attracted strong commercial demand while also receiving public discussion about technical performance, including frame-rate and graphical issues reported after release.
