Tom Brady made 358 consecutive regular-season pass attempts without an interception, setting an NFL record at the time. The streak ran from October 17, 2010, through September 12, 2011, during his years with the New England Patriots.
The sequence covered parts of two seasons rather than one uninterrupted campaign. Brady began the streak late in the 2010 season and carried it into 2011 before Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones intercepted him. The achievement reflected Brady’s combination of quick decision-making, pre-snap reads, and a highly efficient Patriots passing attack.
The record was later surpassed, which creates a common trivia trap. Aaron Rodgers broke Brady’s mark in 2018 with 359 consecutive attempts and eventually extended his own streak to 402. That later development does not make 358 incorrect: Brady’s total was the NFL record when he set it, and it remains a notable former league record.
The statistic refers to pass attempts, not completions. It also counts regular-season attempts only, excluding playoff games.
