Stephen Curry made at least one three-point shot in 157 consecutive games during his record streak from November 11, 2014, until November 4, 2016. The streak covered regular-season games and became an NBA record because Curry hit a three in every game across nearly two seasons.
The run ended when the Golden State Warriors played the Los Angeles Lakers on November 4, 2016. Curry went 0-for-10 from three-point range in a 117–97 Warriors loss, ending a streak that had survived both ordinary shooting slumps and the pressure of a highly watched record chase.
The record is about consecutive games, not consecutive made shots or consecutive games with multiple threes. Curry often made several threes in a game, but the required minimum was only one. Three days after the streak ended, he responded with 13 three-pointers against the New Orleans Pelicans, then an NBA single-game record, showing how exceptional his long-range shooting remained.
