Suyin Beifong has five children: Baatar Jr., Huan, Opal, Wei, and Wing.
Suyin is the younger daughter of Toph Beifong and the half-sister of Lin Beifong. After leaving her troubled youth behind, she settled down with the architect Baatar. Together they founded Zaofu, an autonomous metal city, and raised their five children there as members of the Metal Clan.
Their eldest son, Baatar Jr., becomes an engineer and later works with Kuvira. Huan is an artist, while twins Wei and Wing are associated with the invention of the game Power Disc. Opal initially is not a bender, but Harmonic Convergence gives her airbending abilities, making her the first airbender in her family.
The count can be confused because Suyin and Baatar also take in Kuvira and raise her as a foster daughter. Kuvira is therefore part of the household and family story, but she is not one of Suyin’s five biological children. The five are Baatar Jr., Huan, Opal, Wei, and Wing.
