That edit appears on the digital single containing the live extended version. The same listing also includes the 6:53 London Stadium performance, the 5:39 duet version, and the 5:39 solo version. The shorter edit should therefore not be confused with either the full studio duet or the extended live recording.
“Rein Me In” began as a Sam Fender song on his album People Watching. Olivia Dean joined him for a live performance at London Stadium on 6 June 2025, and their collaboration became an official release after clips of the performance attracted attention. The duet was released on 20 June 2025.
Track lengths are especially easy to mix up here because several versions share the same title. The 4:03 time identifies the edit specifically; 5:39 refers to the duet and solo versions, while 6:53 identifies the live extended recording.
