During which Taylor Swift tour was The Life of a Showgirl recorded?

Taylor Swift recorded The Life of a Showgirl during The Eras Tour.

Swift created the album in Sweden during the European leg of the tour in 2024. She traveled between tour commitments and recording sessions, turning the demanding schedule into part of the album’s show-business context.

The Eras Tour began in March 2023 and concluded in December 2024. It was designed as a career-spanning production covering Swift’s musical eras, and its European leg provided the period in which the new album was recorded.

This detail can be confused with the album’s release date or with the tour’s concert film. The Life of a Showgirl was released in October 2025, months after the tour ended, while the recording itself happened during the 2024 European shows. The album therefore followed the tour chronologically but was made during it.
