Blastoise is the final form of Squirtle in Pokémon GO.

Squirtle is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in the original Pokémon games, Pokémon Red and Blue, released in 1996. It evolves into Wartortle and then into Blastoise, completing a three-stage evolution line. In Pokémon GO, players can evolve Squirtle into Wartortle using Squirtle Candy, then evolve Wartortle into Blastoise with additional Candy.

Blastoise is recognizable by the two powerful water cannons mounted on its shell. Those cannons distinguish it from Wartortle, whose design includes prominent ear-like fins and a large, fluffy tail. Blastoise is also one of the three fully evolved forms of the original starter Pokémon, alongside Venusaur and Charizard.
