Fender and Dean performed “Rein Me In” again at St James’ Park on 15 June 2025. The Newcastle stadium was especially meaningful for Fender, who grew up in nearby North Shields and is closely associated with the city’s music scene and football culture.
The performance followed their first live rendition together at London Stadium earlier that month, where Dean was supporting Fender. Fan reaction to clips of the duet helped prompt the studio collaboration, which was released on 20 June 2025.
St James’ Park is the home stadium of Newcastle United. That detail makes it easy to confuse with other major UK football venues such as Hampden Park, Old Trafford or London Stadium, all of which have hosted large concerts and sporting events. The 15 June appearance was part of Fender’s Newcastle shows and featured Dean joining him onstage for the song.
