Boston is the final listed port of call in the 2026 Operation Sail schedule connected with America250.
The planned 2026 tall-ship program lists New Orleans first, followed by Norfolk, Baltimore, New York City, and Boston. The Boston visit is scheduled for July 11–16, after the New York City stop around July 4.
Operation Sail, often known as OpSail, organizes maritime celebrations featuring sailing ships and naval vessels. Earlier editions included the 1976 observance, when tall ships gathered to mark the United States Bicentennial.
The 2026 schedule is designed to connect major coastal cities with the 250th anniversary. Boston is especially significant because of its central role in the American Revolution, including events surrounding the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, and the Siege of Boston.
