A flame burns at the tip of which Pokemon's tail in "Pokemon GO"?

The story behind the answer

In Pokémon GO, the Pokémon with a flame burning at the tip of its tail is Charmander. This small orange Fire-type Pokémon is one of the original 151 species introduced in Pokémon Red and Blue.

Charmander's tail flame is a defining part of its biology and design. In the wider Pokémon story, the flame reflects Charmander's health and vitality: a strong flame indicates that it is doing well, while a weakened flame signals danger. The flame continues to burn when Charmander evolves into Charmeleon and then Charizard, although its body and abilities become much more powerful.

The Pokémon GO version follows the same core identity as the main series, but it does not reproduce every detail of the games or anime. Charmander is often confused with other Fire-type Pokémon, especially Cyndaquil or Torchic, but neither is identified by a flame at the tip of its tail in this way. Charmander can evolve into Charmeleon using 25 Charmander Candy, and Charmeleon evolves into Charizard with 100 more.
